2018 Honens Piano Competition

“The Honens International Piano Competition, based in Canada, prides itself on awarding accomplished pianists who are complete musicians. This may seem a lofty claim, but the Honens has a long list of thoughtful awardees to back it up.”—The New York Times

The Honens Prize Laureate is awarded $100,000 CAN and an artist development program valued at a half million dollars—the largest prize of its kind.

The search for the next Complete Artist begins 1 February 2017. Pianists of all nationalities, aged 20 to 30 on 30 August 2018, with the exception of past Honens Laureates and professionally managed artists, may apply.
